Flotilla 12 performs Vessel Safety Checks which supports the US Coast Guard’s Recreational Boating Safety Program. 

The typical safety check takes less than 1 hour and is performed by specially trained auxiliarists at no charge to the owner.

In addition, owners should feel free to discuss all subjects of boating safety with the examiner and should be sure to ask for free brochures available on the CG Boat Smart and Waterways Watch programs.
